Humble Beginnings
For years, Ice Harbor operated out of a historic grain mill in downtown Kennewick—serving as both a working brewery and a welcoming brewpub.
Along the way, the team continued to evolve—refining their craft, expanding their offerings, and creating a space where people could gather over good food and great beer.
Today, the brewery lives under the Kennewick Public Market sign, continuing that same tradition in a new space.
Our Origin Story
Ice Harbor Brewing Company was founded in 1997 by two former Hanford Site workers who saw an opportunity to bring something new to the Tri-Cities.
What started as a small operation quickly became a local staple—built on hard work, curiosity, and a passion for great beer.
Our locations
Located under the Kennewick Public Market sign, the Brewery Pub offers a classic, indoor pub experience with a full food menu and rotating taps.
It’s where the brewery’s roots live on—comfortable, familiar, and built for gathering.
Opened in 2007, the Marina Taproom brings the same great beer to a relaxed waterfront setting.
With outdoor seating, a full-service bar, and expanded menu options, it offers a different way to enjoy Ice Harbor—just minutes from downtown.
